PRIVACY POLICY

Woofi LLC., doing business as Woofi Global (www.woo-fi.com/app), recognizes the importance of your privacy. This privacy policy informs you of what personal information we collect and how we use it. WOOFI may change this privacy policy from time to time at its sole discretion, as discussed in section ‘9. Changes to this Policy’ below. By registering an account or using or visiting any WOOFI website, application, product, software, tool, data feed, and/or service (collectively, the “Service”), you understand and agree to the terms of this policy. Please read this policy carefully.

If you have an unresolved privacy or data use concern that we have not addressed satisfactorily, please contact us directly at support@woo-fi.com or find more information in section ‘7. How a user can change or update information?’

WOOFI is committed to your privacy. This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect your personal information.

Some fundamental principles relating to GDPR:

A clear purpose: The data controller must specifically inform the customer about the use of their personal data through its collection.

Relevant data: The data controller must collect only the data strictly necessary for its processing; this is the principle of data minimization.

Retention period: Personal data must be retained long enough for the data controller to achieve its purpose; beyond this period, the data must be deleted.

Individual rights: Individuals can exercise their rights over the personal data held by the data controller: access, rectification, or deletion.

What information do we collect?

1.1. Personally Identifiable Information

We may collect personally identifiable information when you provide it specifically and consciously, for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter or chat, create an account, request more information on our contact page, respond to a survey or questionnaire, and provide personal information such as your email address, name, phone number, or other information. Where applicable, personally identifiable information includes personal data as defined by applicable law.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including, but not limited to, any third-party websites, services, applications, online features linked to or referenced by this Site (collectively Third Party Services or TPS) that you may access through the Services. For example, the Services utilize Facebook API Services as a TPS, and you agree to comply with Facebook’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and API Services Terms of Service when interacting with Facebook content and services through the Service. We assume no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of any TPS. We encourage you to review carefully the privacy policies of any TPS you access.

WOOFI does not consider personally identifiable information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not allow third parties to identify a specific individual. We collect and use your personally identifiable information to provide services, operate and improve our services, provide customer service, conduct research and analytics intended to improve our products, services, and technology, and display content customized according to your interests and preferences.

You may always choose not to provide personally identifiable information, but if you do so, certain parts of the Service may not be available to you. If you have registered an account with us, you have agreed to provide your personally identifiable information to access the services. This consent provides the legal basis we require under applicable law to process your data. You retain the right to withdraw such consent at any time. If you disagree with the use of your personal data in accordance with this policy, do not use our Services.

1.2. Sensitive Personal Data

Subject to the following paragraph, we ask that you do not send us and do not disclose any sensitive personal data (e.g., social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background, or union membership) through the services or otherwise to us.

If you send us or disclose any sensitive personal data when submitting content to the services, you consent to our processing and use of such sensitive personal data in accordance with this policy. If you do not consent to our processing and use of such sensitive personal data, you should not submit such content to us. Please note that even if such information is provided, we will not store it anywhere on our end.

1.3. Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We may collect and aggregate non-personally identifiable information, which is information that does not allow you to be identified or identifiable on its own or in combination with other information available to third parties. This information may include items such as a website that referred you to us, your IP address, browser type and language, hardware types, geographic location, and times and durations of access. We may also collect navigational information, including information about the content or pages you view, the links you click, and other actions taken in connection with the service. We use this information to analyze usage patterns as part of service improvement initiatives.

1.4. Cookies, Pixels, and Local Storage

We may collect information through cookies, which are small data files stored on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive by a website. We may use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer or mobile device until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience using the Services.

We use two broad categories of cookies: (1) first-party cookies, which are served directly by us to your computer or mobile device and are used only by us to recognize your computer or mobile device when it revisits any website or application that is part of the services; and (2) third-party cookies, which are served by service providers on websites or applications and may be used by such service providers to recognize your computer or mobile device when it visits other websites.

Cookies We Use

2.1. Types of Cookies

The Services use the following types of cookies for the purposes outlined below:

Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential to provide you with services available through the Services and to enable you to use some of their features. For example, they allow you to log in to secure areas of the websites or applications and help ensure that content loads quickly. Without these cookies, the services you requested cannot be provided, and we use these cookies only to provide you with those services.

Functionality Cookies: These cookies allow the Services to remember choices you make when using a site or application, such as remembering your language preferences, login details, and changes you make in other parts of your account or preferences. The purpose of these cookies is to provide you with a more personal experience and to avoid having to re-enter your preferences each time you use the Services.

Performance Cookies: These cookies are used to collect information about the traffic to the services and how users use the services. The information collected does not identify any individual visitor. The information is aggregated and anonymous. It includes the number of visitors, the websites that referred them, the pages visited, the time of day they visited, whether they have visited before, and other similar information. We use this information to help operate the services more efficiently, to gather broad demographic information, and to monitor the level of activity on our services.

We use Google Analytics for this purpose. Google Analytics uses its own cookies, which are used only to improve the functionality of the services. You can find more information about Google Analytics cookies here: (https://developers.google.com/analytics/resources/concepts/gaConceptsCookies)

Targeting/Advertising Cookies: These cookies are used to make advertisements more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an ad as well as to help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are usually placed by advertising networks with the site operator’s permission. They remember that you have visited a site, and this information is shared with other organizations, such as advertisers. Often, targeting or advertising cookies will be linked to functionality provided by the other organization.

We may also use pixel tags (also known as web beacons and clear GIFs) in the Services to track the actions of users on our sites and applications. Unlike cookies, which are stored on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive by a website, pixel tags are embedded invisibly on web pages. Pixel tags measure the success of our marketing campaigns and compile statistics about the usage of the services so that we can manage our content more effectively. The information we collect using pixel tags is not linked to our users’ personal data.

2.5. Do Not Track Signals

Some Internet browsers can be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. At this time, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. To learn more about “Do Not Track,” please visit allaboutdnt.com(http://www.allaboutdnt.com).

Therefore, while we strive to maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of the information we collect online, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Our service has security measures designed to protect against loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) standard encryption, which encodes information for such transmissions. All information from the service is maintained on secure servers. Access to stored data is protected by multiple security controls, including firewalls, role-based access controls, and passwords.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure. If you have any reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you may have with us has been compromised), please notify us immediately of the problem by contacting us at support@woofi.com.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to change the terms of this privacy policy at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the date of the last update at the top of the policy. If there are material changes to this statement or how we will use your personal information, we will notify you by either prominently posting a notice of such changes here or on our homepage or by sending you an email. We encourage you to review this policy whenever you visit one of our sites or applications.
